In an earlier incident, Wighton also shoves, punched and headbutts a man and aggressively pushes another who appears to be a fan simply wanting a handshake.
A regretful Wighton read an apology to media assembled outside court following his sentencing.
"I'd also like to take the opportunity to apologise to the victims of the incident for any pain I may have caused them and their families," he said.
"There are no excuses for my behaviour. I want to let them know that I'm truly sorry for what happened that night."
Wighton's sentencing comes after he was dealt with by the NRL earlier this year.
After reviewing the CCTV footage, the game's governing body moved to overrule the Raiders who initially handed down a six match suspension, before the NRL increased the ban to 10 games and ended his season.
Wighton was also fined $30,000, and Raiders officials were unsuccessful in their appeal to have the penalty reduced.
