League: Benji wants test on Anzac day

Kiwis captain Benji Marshall is calling on the NRL to open up Anzac weekend for their annual test against the Kangaroos.

This year's annual early season test falls almost two weeks after Anzac day.

Marshall says it would be nice to have more time to prepare and to have the match on the 25th of April.

He says it's a great idea but TV rights and contracts mean it can't happen.

The Kiwis last won the Anzac league test in 1998 and have never won the early season fixture in Australia.
