SYDNEY - Playmakers Trent Barrett and Brett Finch have been called into the NSW State of Origin squad.
Cronulla captain Barrett and Melbourne half Finch joined the Blues in camp in Wollongong on Tuesday night, a statement from the NSWRL said.
The pair will train with the side today at WIN Stadium.
Centre Timana Tahu is battling an ankle injury and, should he withdraw, Blues five-eighth Jamie Lyon could be shifted wider.
One of Barrett or Finch could come into the side at five-eighth.
It was not immediately clear who the second player was shadowing.
