Benji Marshall's time at the Dragons appears all but over, and his storied NRL career might also be at an end.
The 31-year-old former Kiwi playmaker will be dropped to reserve grade for the penultimate round match against Parramatta, news.com reported.
Marshall, who led the Wests Tigers to a title in 2005, has conceded his days with St George Illawarra are nearing an end.
Marshall told Channel Seven: "The Dragons don't owe me anything. If anything I owe them for the opportunity.
"There is a fair chance that I am not going to be here next year so they need to probably have a look at some of those guys who are.
