The under-siege Warriors have plenty to deal with - but that won't include the great Melbourne Storm fullback Billy Slater.
The 32-year-old's comeback from shoulder surgery has hit an early problem. Slater withdrew just before the Storm's round two match against the Titans on Sunday and is out indefinitely.
Slater had suffered concerning soreness to the shoulder after his first game back after a nine month absence. He will have exploratory surgery.
Storm coach Craig Bellamy said: "He's devastated, obviously ... no that's probably not the right word because Bill's pretty optimistic so he's going to wait and see what they find there but he's obviously very disappointed and fairly frustrated after what he went through last year."
Storm captain Cameron Smith said the club was hopeful Slater would not be sidelined for too long.
