There are still plenty of twists and turns to go in the final three rounds of the NRL.
Still on shaky ground in the bottom four of the top eight on 26 points are the Tigers, Sea Eagles, Knights and Broncos.
At the Knights, who knows what rookie coach Rick Stone can conjured up after his team delivered a stunning win on Monday night against the Storm.
His appointment has worked immediately for the Knights. If he can turn 26 into 30 he will have the power of a magician.
But just out of the eight sitting on 25 points are the Panthers and Eels followed by the Cowboys on 24. With six points left on offer, 30 points will get any team into the playoffs.
But I can't see the Panthers recovering from the shellacking they copped from the Broncos at Suncorp on Sunday.
The Eels are the current media darlings and could stage a piece of history. Coach Daniel Anderson has certainly discovered the power of his team.
At the Cowboys it looks like coach Neil Henry has reined his team in. With only one of their last three games at home the Cowboys' big guns need to be at their deadliest to lift to 30 points.
Henry needs to cut the reins.
