James Segeyaro and Paul Gallen played huge roles in keeping their teams and your fantasy squads firing in Round 24 of Fantasy NRL.
Panthers 28 Broncos 12
The star: James Segeyaro (82pts) - I'm pretty sure this is the fantasy performance of the season - three tries, four line breaks, 24 tackles and 113 metres-gained.
The dud: Josh Hoffman (9pts) - This was his worst performance of the season, just 58 metres-gained and little else. For $416k he isn't worth it.
Value pick: James Segeyaro (82pts) - All of the above points and stats come for just 188k. He won't do this every week (he had topped 50 points just twice before this round) but he's a decent bench option for your front row.
Rabbitohs 28 Bulldogs 20
The star: Issac Luke (59pts) - For some reason he's the second-most owned front rower in our game despite not averaging in the top 15 of front rowers overall. However, this week he came through for his owners.
The dud: Trent Hodkinson (8pts) - By far his worst fantasy day of the year as the Bulldogs attack was shut down by the Rabbits.
Value pick: George Burgess (44pts) - He'd been quiet the past few weeks but got back his tackling and running best in this one.
Dragons 18 Tigers 34
The star: Tim Simona (53pts) - Simona's had a couple of these huge games this season, sprinkled in with some shockers. However, he's definitely a star on the rise for the Tigers.
The dud: Brett Morris (17pts) - He's not particularly fantasy-relevant but appears here largely due to his $438k price tag. If you have him in your team, ditch him fast.
Value pick: Tim Simona (53pts) - Again, the star happens to have come at a very economical price, this time $125k. Another one to watch for your back bench-spot.
Titans 22 Warriors 24
The star: Nathan Friend (61pts) - This was Friend's third 60+ points haul this year and the fifth time he's made 50+ tackles. He's averaging 57 points over his past 12 games. Buy.
The dud: Manu Vatuvei (16pts) - Big Manu hasn't scored a try in his past three games, his longest drought of the season, and hasn't made a line break the past two. Avoid him until he shows signs of life again.
Value pick: Ryan James (58pts) - I've pointed him out as a great bench option a number of times this season and this week he put on his best fantasy show of the year. For $107k go slot him in to your bench now.
