In the absence of State of Origin stars, Penrith Panthers captain Kevin Kingston stepped up to lead all fantasy scorers in Round 18.
Broncos 18 Sharks 19
The star: Josh McGuire (62pts) - He's had increased minutes over the past two rounds and has responded with two 60+ fantasy totals. With State of Origin over this week, he will likely return to fantasy irrelevance.
The dud: Wade Graham (8 pts) - Graham left the game early with a shoulder injury and will miss 3-4 weeks. Make transfers accordingly.
Value pick: David Stagg (45pts) - Another benefactor of State of Origin, well done to those who picked up the $92,000 second rower for the week.
Eels 10 Panthers 17
The star: Kevin Kingston (74pts) - Kingston equalled his season-best in the close win. He's not quite an elite front row option though as he's not always playing 80 minutes.
The dud: Ryan Morgan (19pts) - He's been a solid, cheap option in the back position this season but this was his worst week of 2013. He should bounce back.
Value pick: Daniel Harrison (47pts) - Don't look now but Harrison has been a top 5 second rower over the past three Eels fixtures. If he's starting, start him for just $191k.
Bulldogs 39 Storm 0
The star: Timoteo Lafai (64pts) - Lafai was an offensive monster against the Storm with 212m gained, four line breaks and a try. He's a pretty good option at back for $233k.
The dud: Justin O'Neill (15pts) - O'Neill's been relatively consistent this season but the Storm were silenced this week. He'll return to form after the bye.
Value pick: Mitch Brown (38pts) - Brown's had his moments this year but this was his best so far. Two tries and 183m gained blew away his season highs. With the right match-up he's well worth his $187k price.
Cowboys 14 Sea Eagles 34
The star: Matt Ballin (61pts) - With the likes of Cameron Smith, Corey Parker and Robbie Farah out of action, Ballin was the week's safest best for points in the front row and he came through for smart owners.
The dud: Ashley Graham (11pts) - He scored six tries in the first six games of the season but has been very quiet in the fantasy world of late, this week included.
Value pick: Joel Reithmuller (37pts) - He may have been on the losing side but Reithmuller provided great value points for just $123k. He's a great bench option for your second row.
