The NFL has trumpeted the participation of NRL stars Jason Taumalolo and Valentine Holmes in an official trial in Los Angeles next week.
Taumalolo and Holmes flew together from London immediately after squaring off against each other in the Four Nations final between Australia and New Zealand on Monday.
Both Taumalolo and Holmes are signed with the same player agent company, Pacific Sports Management, who described the trial as an "NFL sporting experience".
They said both players had received interest from NFL franchises throughout the year, and had departed for the US with their NRL clubs' blessing.
"It is a tremendous sporting experience that both players are excited about, they will have the opportunity to showcase their athletic ability and meet some interesting people," Pacific Sports said.
