Following a horror season, the Sydney Roosters have received some good news with prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves signing on until at least the end of the 2020 NRL season.
The New Zealand prop, who signed a three-year contract extension, has played 143 games for the club in seven seasons since moving from Manly in 2009.
The 27-year-old missed a big chunk of the season with a knee injury, but averaged a healthy 120 metres in 14 games as the Roosters finished second-last on the ladder with six wins.
"Everyone who knows me knows how much the Roosters mean to me," Waerea- Hargreaves, a 2013 premiership player, said in a statement.
"It's an honour to wear the Roosters jersey and to represent our area, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to know that I'll continue to be part of the team we have here for at least the next four years."
