The All Blacks have got their haka down to a fine art but you still can't beat an intense haka at the grassroots level when both teams get in each other's faces.
Enter the Tuhoe side at New Zealand Māori Rugby League Nationals in Wainuiomata.
A YouTube video uploaded by NZ Maori Rugby League shows the team laying down the challenge ahead of the Lummy Newton Trophy match in the Waka section against Waikato over the weekend.
There are even Tuhoe fans, including children, getting involved in the haka before they go face to face with the Waikato side.
Waikato went onto win the final 12-4.
