League: Williams denies speeding charges

Kiwi Sonny Bill Williams has pleaded not guilty to seven speeding charges.

Williams' lawyer Mitchell Cavanagh told a Sydney court that Williams was not driving his car on the seven occasions it was recorded speeding and was in New Zealand on some occasions, the National Nine News website reported.

Williams, 20, chose not to appear in court.

The case was adjourned until March 29.
