KEY POINTS:
Apparently the Kiwis don't have great crowd-pulling power in Sydney.
Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium will host the one-off trans-Tasman rugby league test in April, it was announced today.
Australian sports minister Andrew Fraser said Suncorp Stadium had advanced its claims for the test following the disappointing crowd for the Tri-Nations final against New Zealand at Sydney's Aussie Stadium in November.
About 28,000 fans turned out to watch Australia win 16-12 in double-extra time.
Suncorp Stadium has a capacity of 52,500 and a test last year attracted 44,000 fans.
Fraser added that at this stage the April 20 test will be the only time the Tri-Nations champions will play New Zealand on home soil this year.
