The New Zealand Rugby League admit ticket sales have been slow for Friday night's trans-Tasman test between the Kiwis and Kangaroos at Eden Park.
Just 20,000 tickets have so far been sold at the 50,000 capacity stadium, and NZRL CEO Jim Doyle says they've had to dampen down expectations.
"The Warriors played well on Sunday, obviously there's a bit more excitement again about rugby league, hopefully that will entice people to come along on Friday night."
The last time a test was staged at the ground, 44,000 turned up for the Four Nations double header in 2010.
