Melbourne's Jesse Bromwich, Tohu Harris and Kevin Proctor have been added to the Kiwis Rugby League World Cup train-on squad, bringing the total number to 27 with four teams left in this year's NRL competition.
Players are added after their clubs are eliminated from playoffs contention before the final 24-man New Zealand squad is named on October 8. There were no contenders at Cronulla, who were also eliminated last weekend.
All three Storm players were part of the Kiwis squad for this year's Anzac test against Australia and Bromwich and Proctor are good bets to make the final cut.
The eight Warriors players in the train-on squad had their first training session this week, which was said to be exhausting.
