Australian league coach Ricky Stuart has turned to his toughest opponent Allan Langer to inspire his players for battle against the Kiwis tonight in Brisbane.
Stuart and Langer were tremendous halfback rivals through the 90s for their clubs and state.
However, Stuart has invited Langer to hand out the test jerseys before tonight's ANZAC match.
Meanwhile, Kangaroos second rower Ben Kennedy is desperate to end his representative league career on a high note tonight.
Kennedy will play his final match for Australia, and says revenge is definitely a driving force for him, although he can not speak for his teammates.
Kennedy says if Australia had beaten New Zealand last year, he probably would not be playing tonight.
Skipper Darren Lockyer says the loss late last year is a great motivator for his side, and they feel they have a point to prove to themselves and their home supporters.
Kick off is at 9:30.
