League: Sonny Bill banned

Embarrassed Kiwis and Bulldogs league star Sonny Bill Williams has apologised to fans after a Sydney court suspended his licence for five months and fined him $A700 ($756) for drink driving.

Williams, 20, and on a provisional licence, returned a .075 breath test on August 17 and was charged with a low-range drink driving offence.

The legal blood-alcohol limit for P-platers is zero.
