Team doctor Roy Saunders says Queensland captain Cameron Smith will be 100 per cent fit for Wednesday night's first State Of Origin rugby league clash with NSW at Etihad Stadium.
While Smith again declined to speak to the media on Tuesday morning after pulling out of yesterday's captain-and-coaches conference, Dr Saunders said the hooker had fully recovered.
Dr Saunders said a number of the Queensland players had been treated for flu-like symptoms, adding there were no concerns about their health on the eve of the big clash.
"Cam is fine - he'll be 100 per cent fit tomorrow night,'' said the veteran Queensland doctor.
"He's fully recovered and I expect him to be 100 per cent on the night.''
