KEY POINTS:
BRISBANE - Queensland yesterday named an unchanged 17-man lineup for the third State of Origin match despite injuries threatening to disrupt their preparations for the game in Brisbane on July 4.
Melbourne lock Dallas Johnson (knee), North Queensland back-rower Jacob Lillyman (head) and Brisbane centre Justin Hodges (ankle) all have injury concerns.
If either Johnson or Lillyman are struggling for fitness, Gold Coast forward Gavin Cooper is expected to come into the squad as 18th man.
Sydney Rooster Nate Myles kept his place on the Maroons bench despite being suspended last week by his club for a second alcohol-related off-field incident.
There was also good news for prop Petero Civoniceva, who was cleared to play after avoiding a charge for his part in a brawl which saw him sinbinned late in Brisbane's convincing victory over Wests Tigers.
All four players charged from the weekend round have pleaded guilty, with only Bulldogs prop Mark O'Meley and Sharks forward Cameron Ciraldo to miss games.
O'Meley will serve a one-match ban for his grade two careless high tackle on Manly winger Michael Robertson.
He will miss the match against Cronulla this weekend, but could still be named 18th man for New South Wales early next week.
Ciraldo will miss two games after pleading guilty to a grade four, careless high tackle. Rabbitohs centre Shannon Hegarty and Canberra's Glen Turner both escaped suspension after pleading guilty to grade one, careless high tackle charges.
