Kiwis international Robbie Paul has parted ways with English Super League club Bradford after joining Huddersfield on a two-year contract.
Paul, 29, leaves Bradford after 11 years and 305 matches having won four Super League titles, two Challenge Cups and two World Club Challenges with the Bulls.
The utility player was not called into the Kiwis squad for the second half of the Tri-Nations tournament in England.
Paul made his last appearance for Bradford in their Grand Final victory over Leeds earlier this month, but had become frustrated at his lack of starts and opportunities in his best position.
In recent seasons he also found himself used from the bench more and eventually came round to the idea that a move may better suit his career.
"It was kind of surreal because I'd never considered it before but I weighed everything up and everything seemed right," Paul told the Super League website.
"It was the right time for Bradford, for me and Huddersfield. We all gained something from it and it wasn't a hard decision in the end.
"One of my fears was that I might spend another season as I've spent the last couple.
"It has been quite a frustrating time for me in the last two years, until then I had always been an 80-minute player.
"This is an opportunity to get back to playing my game and I feel there is something special here at Huddersfield. It seemed exciting and I think the club are very positive about the future."
