NSW's chances of snapping their seven-series State of Origin losing streak against Queensland have received a major boost, with the Blues set to host two home matches next year including a potential game-three decider.
NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell is expected to make an announcement on Tuesday following a multi-million-dollar deal between the NSW Government, ANZ Stadium management and the Australian Rugby League Commission (ARLC) which takes the 2013 home advantage from the Maroons.
The original scheduling for Suncorp Stadium to have two games in 2013 was made before the new independent commission came into power at the start of the season.
NSW have lost the past seven interstate series to Queensland sides prepared by Mal Meninga.
The ARLC is expected to unveil its new seven-year Origin schedule in Sydney on Tuesday.
