Thomas Leuluai has signed a new three-year contract with Super League side Wigan that will keep him at the Lancashire club until the end of the 2012 season.
The 23-year-old New Zealander, a member of the Kiwis team who upset the odds to win the World Cup in November, has made 78 appearances since joining Wigan from Super League rivals Harlequins at the end of the 2006 season.
"I am pleased that the deal has been sorted," said Leuluai, whose current contract was due to run out at the end of this season.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far with Wigan and was always looking to stay. I hope I can play my part in bringing some success to the Warriors both this season and in the next few years to come."
Wigan coach Brian Noble added: "This is a fabulous re-signing for us. Thomas is an exciting player and I am delighted he has committed his future to us."
