The jury is still out on whether Ruben Wiki will play against Australia in Friday night's Anzac league test in Brisbane.
The Kiwis skipper has been struggling with a hamstring niggle this week, although he came through training without a hitch yesterday.
He will be reassessed after training today.
Kiwis coach Brian McClennan says Wiki is definitely on the improve, but it is not yet clear if he is 100 per cent although if Wiki is not able to take the field, it certainly will not be for a lack of trying.
He says Wiki is a thorough professional when it comes to his rehabilitation, and is doing everything by the book.
McClennan says he is doing everything he possibly can to be right for the match.
Jason Cayless and Sonny-Bill Williams sat out yesterday's run, but should be fine.
Nathan Cayless is on standby for the game.
McClennan says there are a few other niggles within the squad, but nothing that can not be cured by a pain killing injection.

Meanwhile, Kiwis halfback Benji Marshall has confirmed his fitness for the test.
Marshall has been given his own special insurance policy, separate to the rest of the team.
NZRL chairman Sel Bennett says it was a simple procedure to keep Marshall's Tigers club team happy.
Bennett will not give any details as to what Marshall is worth, but says, tongue-in-cheek, he "just signed it off" because that is what Executive Chairmen do!
Bennett says covering the whole team is the most expensive insurance undertaking ever made by New Zealand League.
