Kiwis fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck came to the rescue of an injured driver in Sydney on Tuesday night after a car ploughed into a home near where he lives.
The 21-year-old, who recently signed with the Warriors on a three-year deal, was at home when he heard the crash.
"All I heard was a massive skid and a loud bang," Tuivasa-Sheck told Channel Nine.
"I thought someone was clowning around but when I heard the bang, I thought 'something's wrong'. It wasn't spectacular, I just opened the door and gave him a hand. He was a bit shaky. He had cuts all over his neck and face."
The driver of the vehicle was charged with a drink driving offence and negligent driving. The two elderly homeowners were not injured in the incident and Tuivasa-Sheck stayed on the scene until paramedics arrived.
