UPDATE - A lack of ball skills on a greasy surface have denied the Kiwis from really testing the Kangaroos in Sunday morning's Tri-Nations test in London.
The Kangaroos beat the Kiwis 32-12, outscoring them five tries to three.
The Kiwis led 12-8 at halftime and coach Daniel Anderson said going into the second half he was upbeat.
But Anderson said they did not control the ball well late in the match and probably tried too hard.
Luke Rooney, Darren Lockyer, Willie Tonga, Shaun Berrigan and Petero Civoneciva scored tries for the Kangaroos.
Brent Webb, Lesley Vainikolo and Vinnie Anderson crossed for the Kiwis.
