KEY POINTS:
The All Golds have drawn hooker David Faiumu and wing/fullback Shaun Kenny-Dowall from the Kiwis squad as replacements for Jason Cayless and Francis Meli who have withdrawn from the celebration game in Warrington.
Cayless and Meli suffered injury in the Super League grand final last weekend and were ruled out yesterday.
All Golds captain Adrian Morley confirmed that the Northenr Union selection which is a mix of old test hands and players pushing for an international place, while established test stars watch, would not be treating tomorrow morning's game at Warrington lightly.
"The more competition for places the better. It goes to show how strong we are at the moment that a guy like Stuart Fielden [Wigan and Great Britain prop] can't make the team.
"In each position in the Great Britain team, there are two or three players jumping at your starting position. There are a lot of young players as well who want to make a name for themselves - so there's a lot at stake and I think you'll see that on Saturday with the effort the guys are going to put in."
Great Britain's new coach Tony Smith will name his line-up for the first test against New Zealand on October 27 after tomorrow's game. Morley insists the All Golds match will be a full-blooded international and a valuable work-out before the three-match test series.
"I know it's a celebration of 100 years, but we're not treating it as just an exhibition game. Some of us haven't played for six or seven weeks and are using this to brush up on our match fitness and get ourselves ready for what is going to be a really tough test series."
Super League side Les Catalans have made a play for Kiwis half/hooker Lance Hohaia following the early departure of Stacey Jones who plays his last game tomorrow after cutting out of the last year of his contract with the new French club. Jones reportedly nominated Hohaia as a possible successor.
Hohaia has a year to go on his contract at the Warriors but was used sparingly in 2007 and has been behind other players in terms of selection.
