KEY POINTS:
Junior Kiwi Shaun Kenny-Dowall will leave with the Kiwis today on their four-test rugby league tour to Britain and France.
The 19-year-old Sydney Roosters winger/centre was called into the Kiwis last night after it was confirmed three original selections for the tour had been ruled out.
Centre Steve Matai received a two-match ban after being ordered off for a high tackle on his opposite Mark Gasnier in yesterday's 0-58 centenary test loss to the Kangaroos in Wellington.
It had already been agreed with Matai and his Manly club that he would play only this international to enable him to have an off-season shoulder operation.
Also out of the tour after being injured in the test are fullback Krisnan Inu and new winger Luke Covell.
Covell will be sidelined for six weeks after dislocating his elbow just minutes into his test debut and Inu is out for four to six weeks with a shoulder injury.
Kemble said Kenny-Dowall was always in the selectors' sights.
Also a Junior Kiwi last year, he made first-grade debut for the Roosters this year and was on the wing in the Junior Kiwis who beat the Junior Kangaroos 24-22 in Wellington yesterday.
Kenny-Dowall's selection means a total of nine new Kiwis have now been selected for the touring team.
Taniela Tuiaki (Wests Tigers), Jeremy Smith (South Sydney), Fuifui Moimoi (Parramatta), Jeremy Smith (Melbourne), Jeff Lima (Melbourne), Chase Stanley (St George Illawarra), Sam Perrett (Sydney Roosters) and the now injured Covell were all named originally.
While three replacements were needed, Kemble said the other two would not be named until after the match between the All Golds and the Northern Union in Warrington next Saturday.
"The selectors can wait to see the All Golds play before deciding who else will be brought into the side."
