Scored the opening try and steered the offence around well.

After a quiet week against the Kiwis, Klemmer chewed through the running metres.

Made an impressive 43 tackles, but wasn't his usual active self out of dummy half and lacked impact on attack.

An impressive tackle count and a solid effort at both ends of the pitch.

A strong outing from the Kangaroos captain. He looked threatening throughout the night.

Set up a try and had a high tackle count.

Had his hands full opposing Jason Taumalolo but set the tone defensively and forced a Tongan error.

Only saw 22 minutes and had little time on the football, but he put in a nice touch-finder late in the piece and didn't put a foot wrong in limited game time.

Injected energy from the bench and challenged the Tongan line a number of times.
16.Tyson Frizell – 6
Frizell made a difference on offence in limited minutes, being the most energetic player on the pitch. He displayed his dynamic running game at every opportunity he got.

Tonga
1.Will Hopoate – 6
Hopoate was strong offensively, running for more that 130m, but missed all but one of his attempted tackles.
2.Daniel Tupou - 5
Had limited opportunities on the wing, but made the one he did get count with a well taken try in the corner.
3.Michael Jennings – 3
Poor ball security allowed the Australian side to take over possession on more than one occasion.
4.Solomone Kata - 6
His passing game still needs work but he ran with power and got across the stripe.

Solid under the high ball, but turned the football over a couple of times. Had limited opportunities in sight of the try line.
6.Tuimoala Lolohea – 7
Lolohea handled the moment well in a strong performance as the Tongans lead playmaker. He displayed some creativity and a solid kicking game.
7.Ata Hingano – 2
Hingano injured his shoulder early on and tried to play through it. However, after he fell off a tackle which led to the Kangaroos second try, he was taken from the field.
8.Andrew Fifita – 5
Ran for over 100m but coughed the ball up a few times and lacked his usual impact on the game.
9.Siliva Havili – 4
Tried to force a pass which led to the Kangaroos opening try and made some handling errors.
10.Siosiua Taukeiaho – 8
Tonga's best of the night. Defended well, ran good lines and looked threatening throughout the contest. Ran for 200m on the night.
11.Tevita Pangai Jr. -7
Scored the opening try after breaking the line with some nice footwork and sparked their second try with a nice offload to set the play in motion.
12.Sika Manu – 7
Put boot to ball early in the second half to force a goal-line drop out. Lead the team in tackling with 40 in a strong defensive showing.
13.Jsaon Taumalolo – 7
Battled with Josh McGuire throughout the contest in what was the one-on-one battle of the night. Chewed through the metres and made some nice defensive plays.
14.Sione Kata – 5
The reserve hooker was thrown into the halves when Hingano went off and played his part, though let Lolohea run the show – carrying the ball only twice and putting in as many kicks.
15.Addin Fonua-Blake – 6
Charged with intent and looked to mark his impact felt on both ends of the field. Ran for more than 140m.
16.Joe Ofahengaue – 6
Forced a penalty and came close to scoring. Made things tough on the Kangaroos defense with his powerhouse running style.

Came close to scoring a couple of times, ran with intent and was impressive defensively.
