Three Junior Warriors players and have been named in rugby league's National Youth Competition team of the year.
Fullback Omar Slaimankhel, centre Konrad Hurrell and standoff Carlos Tuimavave all got the nod in the starting lineup while John Ackland, who guided the Junior Warriors to the competition's minor premiership, was named coach of the year.
Slaimankhel is the competition's leading tryscorer with 26 tries in 23 games, while Hurrell, in his debut season, and Tuimavave, a Junior Kiwi last year, have caught the eye in a season where they have lost just four games and remain unbeaten at home.
None of the Junior Warriors' forwards made the side, despite strong performances from Samiuela Lousi, John Palavi and Ben Henry.
Only one Junior Warrior, centre Siuatonga Likiliki, made the team last year.
