League: Former Raider banned for biting

Former Raiders and Dragons centre David Howell has been banned for six weeks in the Super League for biting an opponent.

Howell will miss the rest of the Harlequins' season for the offence on Catalan's halfback Remy Marginet.

The offence is ranked alongside eye gouging and spitting and just below assault of a match official.
