Englishman Russell Smith has been confirmed as the referee for the Anzac rugby league test between the Kiwis and the Kangaroos in Brisbane next Friday night.
Smith controlled both Tri-Nations tests between the two sides last October, in Auckland and in London.
The Yorkshireman will be particularly familiar to the New Zealand Warriors who make it into the Kiwi test 17 to be named on Sunday night.
Smith, who is refereeing in at least the first 12 rounds of the National Rugby League, has already handled the Warriors' matches against Brisbane and South Sydney.
He will be in the middle again when the Warriors are away to Newcastle on Sunday afternoon.
