Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs coach Dean Pay has been fined AU$25,000 for hitting out at officials after his side's 22-20 loss to the Brisbane Broncos last week.
Pay, in his first year at the helm, made the most of his podium time following the match and shared his thoughts about a number of calls made in the match.
The 48-year-old labelled calls made in the loss "disgraceful" and "ridiculous" - with two particular refereeing decisions in his firing line.
Fullback Moses Mbye was sin binned just second before the final siren after being judged to interfere with his Brisbane counterpart from scoring a try in the dying exchanges. The ensuing penalty goal led to the Brisbane win.
The other was a suspect knock-on from Brisbane winger Jamayne Issako deep inside his own half in the second half that wasn't called. Referees boss Bernard Sutton later called Pay to explain the calls, NRL.com reported.
