Kevin Locke has been blocked from speaking to the media by his new club Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
The Super League's bottom club have a meagre four points on the league ladder and could be forced out of their Belle Vue Stadium next season, due to high maintenance costs.
Their move to prevent any media from speaking to Locke is the latest piece of bizarre news the former Warriors fullback has been linked with recently.
His on-going pay dispute with Salford Red Devils owner Marwan Koukash resulted in Locke leaving the club and an agreement still hasn't been reached between the player and the club.
