Robbie Farah has joined his NSW teammates at their Coffs Harbour base on Wednesday night after initially being refused permission to fly after having hand surgery.
Farah underwent surgery on his fractured hand on Tuesday afternoon and was initially refused permission to fly to Coffs due to regulations that prohibit passengers boarding an aircraft within 24 hours of hand surgery.
The Blues hooker boarded a later flight after providing documentation stating the 24-hour period had expired.
"I'm really exhausted, it's been a long day," Farah told reporters as he arrived at the Blues' hotel.
He remains a 50/50 proposition to play in State of Origin III next week and is unlikely to train with the Blues until at least late this week, if at all.
