Months after humiliating himself on a flight, rugby league great Andrew Johns has been lauded for a selfless act while en route to Brisbane.
Queensland mother Lisa Irving has taken to social media to thank Johns for giving up his business-class seat for her and her baby daughter on Friday.
"Lexi and I had a taste of the high life today courtesy of a very generous business class passenger, Mr Joey Johns, offering to swap seats with us," Irving tweeted.
"Real plates, cutlery and it felt very weird to drink water on a plane out of an actual (sic) glass!"
Irving was returning home after celebrating her father's 60th birthday, while Johns was travelling to Brisbane to commentate on the Brisbane-Souths NRL match for the Nine Network.
