Ben Franks is the latest All Black to confirm he will head offshore following this year's World Cup.
The 30-year-old prop has signed for London Irish where he will be coached by Chiefs assistant Tom Coventry who will also join the club next season.
"I am really looking forward to joining London Irish," Franks said in a statement. "I have been to have a look around Hazelwood and was very impressed with the set up. After speaking to the board and seeing the facilities, the ambition of the club is clear."
Franks, who began his Super Rugby career with the Crusaders in 2006 but moved to the Hurricanes in 2013, was also drawn in by the family-friendly nature of London Irish.
"It is a family-friendly club which played a big part in my decision to move my family over. London Irish also has a link with St Mary's University where I will be able to study alongside playing rugby for the club. There is still work to be done in New Zealand but my family and I are looking forward to joining the club next season."
