Four players have been cited after an incident in yesterday's North v South rugby match at Dunedin's Forsyth Barr Stadium.
Several players became involved in a fracas 32 minutes into the first half of the game.
Citing commissioner Mike O'Leary has cited North halfback Brendon Leonard (Chiefs) under law 10.4(e) for an alleged dangerous tackle on South hooker and captain Jason Rutledge (Highlanders).
North's hooker Dane Coles (Hurricanes) has also been cited under law 10.4(e) for his alleged part in the same tackle on Rutledge.
Coles has been cited for a second offence, under law 10.4(a) for foul play after allegedly striking South's centre Kendrick Lynn (Highlanders).
