Rugby: England move up in World Cup odds

England were installed as outright second favourites for this year's World Cup after their 25-14 win over world champions Australia in Melbourne.

English bookmakers William Hill cut England's odds from 5/2 joint second favourites with Australia to 2/1.

New Zealand are still favourites at 13/8 despite their 15-13 loss to England a week ago.

Australia's odds have lengthened to 3/1 third favourites.

Of the other teams, France are 8/1, South Africa 16/1 and Ireland 25/1.
