Former All Blacks lock Jason Eaton is preparing to spend next year playing club rugby.
Eaton has yet to be offered a contract for the 2012 Super Rugby season.
He says he's preparing to be in the first class wilderness next year.
Eaton says at the moment he'll be playing club rugby for Stratford as there's no contract on the table from any franchise for next year.
Eaton will captain Taranaki in their ITM Cup match with Tasman tonight.
