The goalpost that All Blacks legend Dan Carter practiced on as a kid is still being put to good use.

Neville Carter (Dan's dad) revealed to ZM's Fletch, Vaughan & Megan that he often leaves a ball out on his front yard for kids who want to practice on Dan Carter's goalpost.

"[They] chill out and have a kick," Carter said.

"They bring their picnic basket out here, sit down and enjoy the day and then come and have some kicks over the goal.

"If you can get a smile on someone's face for having a kick over Dan Carter's goalpost, then why not?"

Fletch, Vaughan & Megan hung out with Neville who showed them some special Dan Carter memorabilia.
