World Cup reject Israel Dagg has put his commitment to remaining in New Zealand on paper.
Or to be more precise, the 49-test outside back has taken something off paper.
The Crusaders' Dagg seemed to tweet that his test "journey" was over in the wake of his World Cup non-selection last year, although he recanted days later. Dagg has now gone a step further, revealing to Newstalk ZB's Tony Veitch that he has even altered his contract.
"I've terminated my out clause for this year and I'm going to be around until at least 2017," said Dagg.
"I will admit I was looking overseas but I had a good sit down with New Zealand Rugby and my agent and Steve Hansen...I'm not ready to leave.
