Former South Africa five-eighths Derick Hougaard signed with English Premiership giants Leicester Tigers yesterday, reuniting him with former Northern Bulls coach Heyneke Meyer.
The 25-year-old, who burst on to the international scene at the 2003 World Cup, will replace England player Andy Goode who has signed for French championship side Brive.
