Britain's four-time Olympic champion Matthew Pinsent has announced his retirement from rowing.
Pinsent, 34, unbeaten at a major championships for 12 years until 2003, won his fourth Olympic gold medal amid emotional scenes in Athens in August.
Pinsent said he had lost the desire to train since his Olympic triumph.
