New Zealand women bagged two silver medals on finals day at the world under 23 rowing championships in Brest, Belarus last night.
Lightweight scullers Lucy Strack and Julia Edward took second in 7min 30.95s, finishing just over 2s behind the Greek winners.
In the penultimate final of the event, the women's eight of Genevieve Behrent, Hayley Hoogeveen, Kylie Wright, Fiona Bourke, Jessica Loe, Zoe Stevenson, Tarsha Williams, Kelsey Bevan and cox Frances Turner crossed in 6:36.48, almost 5s behind the United States.
