Auckland rower Henry Poor has made the final of the single sculls at the World Junior Championships in Beijing.
Poor's effort was significant because it gave the NZ team a 100 per cent record in making every final in events they contested. The men's coxed four and eight and the women's quadruple scull and straight four all qualified earlier.
The men's eight, who are the reigning champions, qualified directly to the final and will be starting as one of the favourites.
