Olympic gold medallist Georgina Evers-Swindell won the world indoor championships in Boston today (NZ time) in a time of six minutes 33.2 seconds.
Her Olympic gold medallist twin sister, Caroline won the silver medal covering the 2000m on a rowing machine in 6min 40.2sec.
Paula Twining completed a New Zealand trifecta by taking out the bronze medal in 6min 43.4sec.
Georgina's winning time was five seconds outside her world record time of 6min 28.8sec.
New Zealand's George Bridgewater added to the medal haul with his second placing in the men's event clocking 5min 47.6sec.
Bridgewater was right in the hunt for gold and sitting on world record time splits until the final 500m.
The event was won by world record holder Pavel Shurmei from Belarus in 5min 43.3sec.
