New Zealand's four-time world champion sculler Mahe Drysdale has been awarded the Lonsdale Cup, given each year for the country's most outstanding contribution to an Olympic or Commonwealth sport.
Drysdale won two World Cup titles, the Diamond Sculls at Henley, the world title in Poland and was undefeated this year.
Double Olympic champion twins Georgina and Caroline Evers-Swindell were awarded the cup in last year.
