The New Zealand men's rowing eight has knocked the Boat Race winning Cambridge crew out of the Grand Challenge Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta.
The New Zealand crew dominated its clash with the Light Blues and will now race the British number one eight in the semifinal tonight. It is the first time in 30 years New Zealand has entered an eight in a major regatta.
Mahe Drysdale, the men's pair, the lightweight pair, and the women's quadruple scull have all made it through to semifinals.
