All but one of New Zealand's six crews have avoided the repechage at the Rowing World Cup at Poznan, in Poland.
The four world champion crews are through to semi-finals tomorrow morning, while the men's coxless four won its heat to go straight into the final tomorrow night.
Carl Meyer is a veteran of the four over several European summers - he is reflecting on a sound start to the campaign.
Meyer says they had enough in the tank at the end, with the younger members of the crew really proving their worth.
The women's eight has finished fourth and last in its first international race together - they face a repechage early tomorrow morning.
