She has beaten rising star Emma Twigg and Australian Pippa Savage for the title.
Evers-Swindell had to qualify for the final via a repechage.
Meanwhile, Juliette Haigh and Nicky Coles have cruised to a four and a half length in the premier women's pair, while the quadruple sculls crew of Nathan Cohen, Hamish Bond, Matthew Trott and George Bridgewater have won by almost three lengths.
